Patricia Timmermans was born is 1962 in Brussels. She belongs to an artist's family and she inherited the aesthetic fiber and various talents.
Naturally she decided to dedicate to sculpture. Her style is definitely figurative. It shows the mankind values and highlights the feminine sensibility.
Totally self learner and passionate in sculpture, her creation is inspired by the human form. She expresses beauty, fragility and changes over time.
Her speciality is feminine nude art: she enjoys catching an attitude, an action, an emotion, searching for beauty, forms, and volumes using simplicity or more sophisticated poses.
Her bronze sculptures give a positive strength. Various patines add an original touch, sometimes unreal.
For each work, Patricia shows honestly a bit of herself, of her own feelings: what is fascinating and exciting her and what is obsessing her.
The most important for Patricia is what the sculpture tells: an emotion, an image of her personality, her woman fragility and above all, her freedom and her power to think and to dream life.
